It breaks my heart that I spent my entire youth and the majority of my adult life not knowing how to truly recognize and receive the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in my body and mind. The profound grace, calm, clarity, and capacity to connect with myself and others can be found no other way.
Yesterday, I was reading through some of my pre-Jesus journals. Although I was raised in the church and baptized as a child. When I refer to Pre-Jesus, I mean before I walked (In) a relationship with him, before my near-death drowning experience. I used to put in so much effort and try hard every day. I was trying to get it right. I was so frustrated that everything I was striving towards always still felt empty.
Until Jesus showed me how God's love, peace, and home are here for me, the peace, welcome, and freedom I was striving towards were right here. I hope today's class flow helps all of us to go deeper with and (In) Christ.
